Hi my name is Meredith Larson and I am a counselor at Northwest Family Counseling. I have been working for 7+ years helping individuals with vision loss and other disabilities adjust to life after their diagnosis. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of MN- Morris, a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and am completing my coursework to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN.

In addition to my work with individuals with vision loss, I have spent over 8 years working with women at a pregnancy resource center and has been involved in various ministries serving individuals from East Africa. I love traveling to Nairobi, Kenya!

My ideal client is someone who needs help in processing a recent medical diagnosis and working with women who are struggling to know and understand their value and worth. Depression and anxiety, value and self-worth, as well as meeting with teenagers are all areas of passion for me. I would be very happy to meet with you to see if working together would be a good fit. We all offer a free 30-minute consultation to make sure we’re a good fit before moving forward.

Call today to set up a time to meet and see if I am a good fit for you! (763) 220-2312

Meredith is currently finishing her LPC requirements and is supervised by Dan Schmoyer, MA, LPCC.
